Adrian Villanueva Lead quena (Andean flute) player and composer. A professional musician for twenty years, Adrian has played with many leading Bolivian groups including Los Trovadores of Bolivia. He is a leading quena-maker and is well-known in Bolivia for his contribution to the development of the art of quena making, pioneering with different materials and techniques. | |||||

Nestor Tintaya Lead vocalist and zampoña (panpipe) player and composer. Joined Rumillajta when he was 17, is an instrument maker and has a recording studio in La Paz. Nestor is a highly skilled panpipe player and is the composer of the title tracks of two Rumillajta albums, "Hoja de Coca" and Pachamama". | |||||

Juan Carlos Cordero Guitarist, composer, arranger and second voice. Juan Carlos joined Rumillajta when he was 19 and is currently studying communications science at La Paz University. | |||||

Max Carlos Ponce Zampoña (panpipe) player and percussionist. A very experienced young musician who joined Rumillajta in 1991. Carlos has accompanied many of Bolivia's foremost musicians including Jenny Cardenas, Emma Juanara and Luis Rico and has toured in Latin America, Europe and the Unites States. | |||||
